Charter College offers a wide variety of career-oriented programs designed to get you the training you need to help advance or start your new career. We welcome qualified students who are working or just graduated from high school.

To allow students to both attend classes and to continue with their regular jobs, Charter College offers a flexible full time, half time, or part time schedule of day and evening classes, or even a combination of the two. If you have credits from another accredited, degree-granting institution, they may count towards your degree and shorten your time needed to earn your degree.

Campus Learning Services
We know that you need to stay in touch and access information on the Internet. Charter College offers our students a fully operational network communications center. Our secure communications hub includes network servers and networking equipment, and provides Charter students high-speed Internet access, email messaging, and access to local network resources. The Charter College Library provides access to a wide range of resources including online computer-based training, research databases, certification testing, electronic books, and instructional seminars.

Career Services
To assist our full time students and graduates apply for appropriate entry-level positions, Charter College maintains a professionally staffed Career Counseling and Job Placement Office.

Charter College is nationally accredited through the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (www.acics.org).
Charter College and the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program are accredited through Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, approved by the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education, and approved by the Alaska Board of Nursing. This nursing education program is a candidate for accreditation by the Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing.
